At Alice & William Books, we take pride in curating meaningful reads and thoughtfully designed book experiences. Please review our policy below before making a purchase.


📚 Returns

Due to the nature of our products, we only accept returns under specific conditions.

Books (Shipped Individually):
We accept returns only if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

Curated Boxes & Specialty Items:
All curated boxes, themed sets, and specialty items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged.


📦 Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can make it right.

🔄 Return Process

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how to proceed.
Do not send items back without contacting us first, as they will not be accepted.

Return shipping instructions and address will be provided once your return is approved.


🚫 Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Curated book boxes or bundles
  • Gift cards
  • Sale items
  • Opened or used items

💳 Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.
